Todd Wolfson
Head Basketball Coach
Growing up, Coach Todd Wolfson always had aspirations of becoming a successful high school coach. As a three year varsity player at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Coach Wolfson always knew his aspirations of becoming a high school coach. “Even when I played in High School, I wanted to learn more about the game and knew that someday I wanted to be High School coach,” Wolfson said. After high school, Wolfson attended UCSB where he would study communications and his focus could switch from player to coach.
Coach Wolfson became the head coach at Chaminade College Prep in 2009. In 2012, he was named CIF Coach of the Year and Daily News Coach of the Year.
In 2014 Coach Wolfsons Chaminade Eagles went 27-6 and won the first ever California State Championship in the history of the school. Coach Wolfson was named CIF Coach of the Year for the second time in six years and credits his players, administration, and assistant coaches for the teams success. Coach Wolfson was named CIF Coach of the Year in 2014, the youngest coach to ever receive that honor.
Taking over the St. Francis Golden Knights Basketball Team in 2015, Coach Wolfson is extremely excited to be coaching at St. Francis High School. In 2020, he led the program to its first ever CIF championship, winning the CIF CO-State Division 2 Southern Regional Championship. He was also named the CIF-SS Division 2AA, San Fernando Valley, and San Gabriel Star News Coach of the Year. In 2023, Todd was inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall Of Fame. In 2024, Todd won his 300th career coaching game making him the youngest coach to get to 300 wins in California state history. He feels by changing the culture and keeping the Franciscan virtues that make the school remarkable, the program can be led to much success on and off the court. When not coaching basketball, Todd can be seen hanging out with his wife Tayler, son Warren, and labradoodle Callie.
