Bobby Guerrero – Varsity Assistant Coach
A Southern California native, Bobby attended All Souls school in Alhambra before becoming a Golden Knight in 1986. Starting on the varsity squad as a sophomore, Bobby went on to be named a High School All American as a junior. As a Senior, he led the team to a 19-1 record with their only loss coming in the CIF semi-finals. Bobby was named the most valuable player of the Del Rey League both his junior and senior years.
Bobby went on to play college soccer at CSUN and then in a men’s semi-professional league until 1994. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology in Arizona before returning to California in 2015 . Bobby came home to St. Francis as a coach in 2017, eventually becoming a member of the school staff in 2020.
For his dedication to the soccer program and his contributions as a player and a coach, Bobby was elected to the St. Francis Athletic Hall of Fame in 2024.
Bobby and his wife Cat live in Burbank. He is a proud father of three and grandfather of two.
