Huge shoutout to Will Ellien for earning Golden Knight Athlete of the Month for January!

Will has been an absolute beast for St. Francis Basketball this season. Standing tall at 6'6", this sophomore has been a matchup nightmare inside and a true leader for our squad, stepping up every night, especially when we’ve needed him most.

Whether it’s on the block, crashing the glass, or setting the tone defensively, Will brings it every minute he’s on the floor. His grit and effort have been a huge part of the Golden Knights’ 21–7 record and our push toward postseason play. 

But what really makes Will stand out? He dominates just as hard in the classroom, holding down a 4.0 GPA with the same intensity he brings to the court, all while leading by example with a great attitude day in and day out.

It’s that balance of heart, hustle, and head that makes Will such a deserving recipient of this honor. We’re proud of you, Will! Let’s finish strong, playoff status drops Saturday at noon.
