Knight of the Month - Brady Cofre
Golden Knight of the Month – September
We are proud to recognize Brady Cofre as our Golden Knight of the Month for September!
Brady has been nothing short of a warrior for our football program. A true two way player, Brady has contributed on both sides of the ball, stepping into multiple positions whenever the team needed him most. Even while pushing through a tough shoulder injury, he has continued to show up, compete, and give everything he has for his teammates.
What makes Brady stand out is not just his toughness, but his heart. He plays with sportsmanship, selflessness, and the type of team first mentality that defines what it means to be a Golden Knight.
Coach Dean Herrington on Brady:
"Brady embodies everything we want in a Golden Knight. He is tough, selfless, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed. Even while battling through an injury, he has stepped into multiple roles without hesitation. Brady’s work ethic, leadership, and sportsmanship sets the standard for our program."
Interim Athletic Director Todd Wolfson on Brady:
"Brady is the type of student athlete every school hopes to have. Every time he steps on the field, you know exactly what you will get — effort, toughness, and an unselfish commitment to his teammates. He is consistent, dependable, and represents St. Francis with pride. We are grateful for all that Brady does to set the standard for our football program and for the Golden Knights."
Brady’s example reminds us that being a Golden Knight is bigger than wins and stats. It is about character, grit, and lifting up the people around you.
Congratulations, Brady! You have set the bar high for what it means to wear the brown and gold.
