Golden Knight Athlete of the Month: Rafa Moncho
Junior goalie Rafa Moncho was unstoppable this weekend, racking up clutch saves and standing tall as the backbone of our varsity water polo team. From shutting down multiple 5 meter penalty shots (a rare feat!) to sparking fast breaks with his sharp passing, Rafa’s impact went far beyond the cage.
A commanding presence in the pool, he constantly directed the defense and led with confidence and composure. Rafa has quickly emerged as a vocal leader, earning the respect of his teammates through his discipline, humility, and relentless work ethic.
It is no surprise that Rafa was named our Golden Knight Athlete of the Month for August —a well deserved honor for a player who inspires with both talent and character.
